Post Monthly Club Run Nov 10 - West Harrison/Skookumchuk
This month's run is planned for November 10 all the way up West Harrison to Skookumchuk Hot Springs and/or Sloquet Hot Springs. The bridge has been repaired and we can now get through. This is not difficult wheeling. Stock and full-size friendly. Day use fee for the hot springs is $7.50 per person so keep that in mind. The drive can be a bit long so plan to meet at 9am and leave 9:30am from the gravel lot beside the Sasquatch Inn.

Please post up if you plan to attend.

This is the day before Remembrance Day so everyone should have the next day off.

I will be attending.
Things to bring, some obvious, some not so obvious:
Swimsuit & towel
Bathrobe
Sandals, flip flops or crocs
A packed lunch
A packed dinner
Snacks and beverages.
Cash money, as Paul stated, $7.50
Extra fuel

There is a primitive change room a short walk away from the tubs, hence the reason to bring slip on footwear and a bathrobe.
It's best not to bring a dog, as they must remain inside the vehicle once inside the park.

Gerry, you must be referring to the Takeout In The Boonies pizza place. It is closed until further notice. As per Ron's advice you better bring lunch and dinner for the trip or you'll be hungry!

Do you still need to pay if you don’t go in the water?

Your Aboriginal, you'll get in free.

I believe all you can access without paying is the day use picnic area before you get in the park, but don't quote me on it.

Options returning home are varied.
Take the same route back down West Harrison FSR, or
Continue up In-Schuck-Ch FSR up to Hwy 99, and then,
if you are near Metro-Van, take 99 thu Pemberton and Sea to Sky, or
if you live in Chilliwack, it may be closer to take the 99 to Lillooet, and then down the Fraser Canyon.

Bringing extra fuel would be required coming back down West Harrison.
