Registration is now open. It fills quickly. Act now.

Just kidding, we all know if Wes isn't going, none of you will go.

I'll be there though.

Thanks for the link Dan. I really enjoyed our one and only trip to this event. will need to do again.

And DIG. Always gotta be a poke in the ribs, eh?
Anyways, Tillamook is 3 weeks after those dates, I'll be using my vacation days to go there.

Dig? You know it's true, Wes no longer supports this event therefore the Herd does not either.

Dan

Just because I am unable to attend an event does not mean that I do not support it. I do not have time and energy to promote every event I have ever been to or had interest in.

PNW Trail Jam is a good time, go have fun. I have attended three times.

This is the Herd of Turtles 4WD Society, not the Wheeling with Wes club. The membership decides what the club does and elects and instructs the Board of Directors to that effect.

Sweet, I needed a slogan. Wheeling with Wes.

My passenger bailed out for pnw, it's gonna be tough to train a new one between now and then.

I'm sure one of these years, when we're not doing Moab, Colorado, Rubicon, or Tillamook, the BOD will decide on this event as the club run for the summer. It is a great time, and a very well run event. And they absolutely love it when a big group of Canadians go down.

They get angry when raffle prizes leave the country though.

It's certainly not an event worth trading a real wheeling trip for but it's close enough and cheap enough for those of us who can't afford Utah and California.

Maybe Trump will put a tariff on prizes leaving the country.

Last year every time I won a prize somebody screamed that they were calling the border.

I gave them the phone number and offered to let them use my phone.

I think I'm going to do this Jam. Sounds awesome. $225 for camping, some meals and guided wheeling. Very cool.

I put my Vac request in and we will see if it works out.

Better check to see if it's sold out first.

Also, read the trail descriptions. Full size trucks are pretty limited in which trails they can run during this event. Make sure the trails that you are interested in will accept full size trucks.

There are around 4 trails that they say fit a full size. Hopefully it isn't just FSR that they think a full size truck can fit on. Looking for something similar to whipsaw technicality.

I think the full size trails will be similar to Whipsaw. They will be interesting enough that you won't be bored. They are also quite scenic so it should be enjoyable from that standpoint.

I registered and am ready to go. Probably not running the same trails as Jeeps. I'm a bit porky but it should still be fun. Looking forward to seeing the funny rocks.

I think I'm the only one that's going.

I run their toughest trails, which are about as challenging as the hard route out of Hale creek, but it's a well run event.

My passenger seat may be available.

The hard route out of hale creek? Is that the way we usually go down? or the fossil beach way? I've done the rocky way down without any issue and have done fossil with my old 150 crew cab.

Well I'll run their full size approved stuff and if its too easy ill step it up on the next days. Funny rocks looks like it can be really nasty, even for a modded crawler.

See you there!

Getting the trail you want is tough sometimes. The scenic trails are pretty awesome though.

Well it's a good thing that I'm not picky. I'll let all the SWB take the tough trails. I'm good with scenic. Bringing the whole fam. Hope there is a lake, stream, water hole somewhere. Sounds like it's gonna be hot.
