Looks like my ball joints are wearing out. Does anyone have suggestions on replacements?

Also if someone has time I would love to learn how to replace them

I plan on doing mine soon, like my Jeep, your is out of warranty, so an aftermarket set of ball joins is the way to go. We will need to borrow someone's ball joint press. Maybe we can do together...

My recommendation would be Synergy Balljoints

I would suggest just going any buying a ball joint press. It is a good tool to have.

I found the only thing it needed extra was a thick solid plate to assist/fit in some spots. 1/2" thick, 4"x5" should do.

I want to wait until it warms up a bit next month. I don't put very many KM's on my Jeep, so it's no problem for me to wait. If you can wait till then, then I'd like to do together. Does that work for you?

Ive used this one on 3 Jeeps.
Works ok. Keep all contact points greased when pressing out the old rusty joints. All contacts, such as threads and where the rotating parts contact the press cups. Especially inside the little isolator cup on the end of the threaded press shaft and between that and the adaptor tool.

May need the adaptor kit if you are not using the Dana ball joints. I used Mevotech TTX terrain tough on the WJ and they have different diameters on the pressing surfaces.
