Post Got a Jeep
Well it isn't a little jeep but its smaller than the Raptor.

Got a 2002 WJ. 4L with TUPY head. Gona put in a 3" lift with 32" MT/Rubicon wheels and Iceland flares. Should be a good start.

Excellent. It has CV joints in the front axle for you to break.

Haha, I saw those CV's. :P
I think I'll try to change those to U joints sooner or later. Same with the front driveshaft.
Just got the RC 4" lift yesterday and a set of take off Rubicon 32" MT's. Front spring towers are rusty so I'll have to do the IRO weld repair to them before I put the lift in.

Actually there's nothing wrong with cv joints as long as your steering stops are adjusted to not overstress them.

My stops are cast onto the knuckle and are not adjustable. Do you have a good method of adjusting or are factory settings are ok? I'll be running 32" and stock gear ratios for now so it shouldn't be terribly loaded.

Don't step on the gas at full steering lock?
