August long weekend (Aug 2-5) - Apex

BC Day long weekend we will return to Apex. Camping will be at Nickel Plate Lake rec site https://www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca/search/ ... &type=Site

The site is accessible for RVs. For those who have not been there before, it is a high altitude campsite so it does tend to get a bit chilly at night. Pit toilets and a couple of picnic tables are the only amenities.

Post up if you plan to attend.

Please note we have switched locations for August and September long weekends. August is now Apex and September is Farwell Canyon.

I doubt I will be able to drive that distance after knee surgery so we may not attend. I definitely won’t be wheeling.
