EVO is closed until tomorrow so my long arm end won’t ship until then. I’m out.

As usual, the club will be having a new years day run. At the moment, the plan is to head up Sylvester and play in the snow, hopefully getting up to the Grotto. Snow run - November 23 - Thurston loop

There is fresh snow in the hills! We would like to take advantage of this and see if we can make it through the Thurston loop this Saturday. Meet at the Wendy's parking lot in Chilliwack (just off Vedder Rd exit of Hwy 1) at 9:30 for a 10am departure. Given the snow, winch is recommended. In any eve...

Re: September 28-30 Whipsaw trip

We are a go for this trip, even if our numbers are not that big. The weather looks good all weekend.

If anyone wants to join us as a day trip, we should be at the trail head on Hwy 3 around 9:30am on Saturday morning. Or join us at Billy's for breakfast around 8:30am.

See you on the trail!

September 28-30 Whipsaw trip

We are looking at doing the whipsaw trail over the Truth and Reconciliation day long weekend. This would involve camping at the Granite Creek rec site. I would expect to run the entire trail on the Saturday then camp overnight again at the same spot. We would run the trail from the Hwy 3 end to Coal...

Re: September Long Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 2) - Tunkwa Lake/Lac du Bois

I am set up in site 93 at the main Tunkwa Lake campground. Saving sites is prohibited but there are many available sites immediately around my site.

There is no cell service at the campground so I had to drive in to Logan lake to post this.

See you all soon!

Re: September Long Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 2) - Tunkwa Lake/Lac du Bois

Sure, we can go to Greenstone.

I am planning to leave here Thursday morning. I will try to get a group site (they are really just 4 or 5 sites close to each other). There is no cell service at the campsite but I will take a drive down the road and post up which site I am in.

See everyone up there!

Re: September Long Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 2) - Farwell Canyon

The water behind landslide in Farwell canyon has broken through and things are returning to a more normal status, however there are additional potential landslides in the immediate area and the Farwell bridge has not yet reopened. We should consider a different location for September. We can talk ab...
