I suspect there is still quite a bit of snow at Copper Creek. Remember 2 (or 3?) years ago when we got snow there on the May long weekend.
I think a place more like the west Hedley site would be safer for Easter.

Here are some updates about the project, including the map of the proposed footprint of the project. This does include a portion of the Thurston loop trail, from near the gravel pit to just past the overlook.

Easter long weekend - April 18-21
Easter is a bit later than usual this year so perhaps weather will be favourable for camping. This is definitely a weather dependent trip but as we get closer, we can talk about where a good spot might be for a club outing. Post up here if you are interested and if you have any suggestions as to a d...

Re: March 1 club run - location TBD
It's not the number of miles, for sure. My output yoke bearings are worn out.
To be fair, most of the miles on the Jeep are off-road.

Re: March 1 club run - location TBD
Looks like I might be out for March 1. My jeep will probably be at North Shore for the transfer case rebuild.
Dan and Gerry, you might want to plan something between yourselves.

March 1 club run - location TBD
We will have a local club run on March 1. The destination will be decided as we get closer to the date, depending on weather. Recent snow has made some of the trails in the area quite treacherous and we want to ensure the safety of our members. That being said, if anyone has any particular suggestio...
